Here is a 1960 aston Martin radio I received for conversion.

Although it is a Motorola radio, it was manufactured in England.

This was a 6 volt AM radio originally.

Note the warning label on the bottom.

This view shows the complexity of the radio and its packaging.  Special construction was utilized to dissipate the heating.  This presented a challenge to find room for the conversion.

Major retrofitting was required to squeeze in the AM/FM Stereo Conversion boards.  The tuning mechanism had to remain intact as we always use the original components where required for functionality.  Note the inverter installed on the rear of the radio to preserve the original voltage and polarity of the car.  There was sufficient room in the dash, behind the radio, to allow for it.
