I have been repairing car radios since 1970. Starting in 1981, I formally offered my services to the antique car community. In 1994 I began installing an internal converter that allowed FM reception in AM only radios. Since then, microprocessor controlled AM/FM stereo conversions have been developed for which I am an authorized installer. Look under 'Services' for details.
I have converted and repaired pre WWII radios such as for a 1939 Cadillac. Unique radios such as 1960 Aston-Martin have been successfully converted as well. This is in addition to 1950's Fords, Thunderbirds, Corvettes, etc. radios that I have restored.
